For over 20 years Old Florida Museum (OFM) has been catering to the dedicated Home Schoolers.

With our move in June 2018 we had to suspend our Summer 2018 & Winter 2019 Home School Day Experiences.

We are glad to say that we are back up and running at our new home located in the Florida Agricultural Museum.

Attention: Home School Leaders

Old Florida Museum is pleased to announce the Summer Home School Experience.

                           Tuesday, September 10, 2019

Help us get the word out to the Home School community if you know someone who may be interested!

PLEASE NOTE: Seating is limited to the first 100 reservations.

This interactive experience is designed to expose students to daily living activities of the Timucua Indians, early Spanish exploration and settlers as well as the field of archaeology. This is a whole day excursion so pack a lunch!

The cost is $18.95 per person for ages three and up at the door. If you call and pay prior to September 6, 2019 you will receive the discounted price of $16.95 per person. Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. These are guided educational tours, and are not to be confused with the General Public admission to the museum which is primarily "edutainment".

*There will be a special 30 minute bonus program for the “Florida Homestead” program. (Only 30 ticket are available) You will get to visit an authentic Cracker Homestead owned by the Clark Family, visit the livestock and learn about cracker cattle and sheep.
