7th annual Pellicer Creek Raid - A Civil War re-enactment

Dates: October 13, 14, & 15, 2017

Friday, October 13th, 10 am—3 pm
, reserved for schools, $3 per person

Saturday and Sunday, October 14th and 15th will be open to the public with battles scheduled for 1:00 pm on both days.  The re-enactors historic camps will be open to the public on Saturday and Sunday when the participants are not on the battlefield.

$5 per person, children under 5 free
Food and Historic Vendors On Site

History really comes alive in this Civil War re-enactment and battle. If you’ve seen the re-enactments in St. Augustine, you’ll really enjoy this event. The setting at the Florida Agricultural Museum makes it easy to imagine you have really stepped back in time. Visit with cavalry, artillery and infantry troops in their authentic camps. Listen to their stories about the life and times in 1864 Florida. Period clothing and other items will be available for purchase.

Please download and complete a registration and liability release form if you wish to participate in this event. You may bring them with you when you arrive, or to save time at registration you can mail them with your payment. Vendors must pre-register. HOLLER-Ween Fest

Florida's Haunted Trails

Date: October 20, 21, 27, and 28, 2017, 6:30 - 11:00 pm
Adults - $15, Children (12 and under) - $10, Children (3 and under) - Free

What's spookier than a wagon ride through the woods at night in October? Maybe a headless horseman? Carnival games and haunted house provide spine-tingling fun for all ages. A variety of food and drinks will be available for purchase. Please come in costume if you like....plenty of folks do. Be sure to wear sensible shoes you'll be walking and you never know what might be lurking in the sands beneath your feet.

Equifest: A Celebration of the Horse

DATE: November 11, 10am - 4pm
Admission is $10 per person 

This day is all about horses! We'll have demonstrations on horse training, and a parade of horses demonstrating different breed characteristics. Vendors will be on site selling tack, jewelry, pottery, food, and much more.

Walk Back in Time

DATE: November 18, 10am - 4pm
Admission is $5 per person

Visit re-enactors from Florida's past. Travel through the camps of the Timucuans - the Native Americans indigenous to northeast Florida, the colonial Spanish and British, the 18th century naturalist William Bartram, trappers and traders, Civil War troops, cow hunters, moonshiners, and women of the rural South. The event will also feature living history demonstrations including pine needle basketry and blacksmithing.

Food and craft vendors will also be onsite. You'll walk on the mile long trail around the Museum's five acre lake, so appropriate clothing and walking shoes are recommended. Please join us for this fun and educational event!

Walk Back in Time


Antique Engine and Tractor Show

Dates: December 7, 8, 9, and 10, 2017, from 10 am until 4 pm
$5 per person

The show will include a wide variety of antique engines, tractors, and other mechanical equipment. This year's event will feature International engines.

This show is produced by The North Florida Antique Engine Association. Its mission is the collection, restoration, and exhibition of machinery, power producing devices, and other antiques.

Hot N' Spicy Festival

Gates open 10am
Admission: $5

Please bring canned goods or non-perishable items to donate to Feed Flagler, a program that helps support hungry folks in our county.  Closed-toe walking shoes are recommended for visitors to the event.  The Museum's regular tours will not be available during the event.Do bring a lawn chair, but leave your coolers and pets at home please!

This event benefits Feed Flagler initiative and Museum projects.

Family Farm Day


Family Farm Days

A Living History Event
Date: April 22, 10am -4pm
$5 admission, Museum members and kids 5 or under - free

A celebration of Florida farming featuring living historians in period clothing. There will be plenty of hands-on activities for folks of all ages, craft demonstrations, music, story telling, and much more. Sensible shoes recommended.

Florida Orienteering Festival

Date: May 20, 9am-3pm
Rain or shine
Pre-registration and membership not required - open to ALL.
Admission: $2 per person +
$6 per map (members) and
$8 per map (non-members).
Compasses available for rent - 50¢ each, $20 deposit

Navigate your way over to the Museum for the Florida Orienteering Festival. Bring the family to have a fun day learning how to navigate through the Florida wilderness. Open to all ages and levels of experience. This trail-hiking program is a light competition with different skill level trails. Instructors will be on-site to explain how the game works.


Equestrian Summer Camp

Equestrian Summer Camp

Dates: June 5-9, June 12 -16, June 19-23, June 26-30, July 5-7 (short advanced), July 10-14, July 17-21 (advanced, $275), July 24-28 (advanced, $275)
Time: 9 am – 2 pm, Monday through Friday
The cost is $250 per camper; $200 if you provide your own horse.

Summer Camp is one of our most popular programs at the Florida Agricultural Museum and is offered to children ages 8-16. Your child will learn Horse safety and behavior, Grooming, Daily Riding, games and crafts...FUN! Enrollment is extremely limited to ensure a quality experience. We encourage you to sign up as soon as possible. Many slots have already been filled for this coming summer. We limit our program to 10 children each week.

Farm Day Camp

The Eagle Rock Equestrian Club will host their semi-annual charity Poker Trail Ride.

Donation of $10 a poker hand per rider or hiker. The purchase of additional poker hands benefit the Florida Agricultural Museum and Horse Haven Rescue. Trail ride, food and drinks for purchase, a silent auction with horse merchandise, a gift bucket raffle, a 50/50 drawing and souvenir T-shirts for $15. Coggins certificate required.
